Our objective is to impact lives through community outreach. Interacting with rural dwellers in Ugandan villages offers us the rare opportunity to not only explore the rich cultural heritage of the people, but also helps us to understand their felt needs.
Our team is dedicated to providing and improving health and wellbeing of the less privileged women and children of these communities, and we work in unison with local and international organizations or persons to achieve this objective.
We initiated our pilot outreach project in 2019 with a visit to communities in eastern region of Kamuli and central region of Kampala. This outreach was made possible in part by the public health masters volunteer students from the National open University in California, local volunteers and our E’kubo team. Research suggest that both the volunteers and community immensely benefited from the project.
